The Role:
As the Manager of Research and Innovation, you will lead the Research and Innovation team, driving innovative strategies focused on energy efficiency in the province. This role is pivotal in driving innovation through technical research, pilot program management, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering and Planning, you will develop and pilot new programs and products with a keen eye for energy-efficient technologies and practices that could impact local communities.
What You’ll Bring:
You have a strong management background with the ability to work with technical teams and build capacity. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to articulate the vision and impact of innovative projects to non-technical stakeholders. You have experience in leading and mentoring a team, fostering professional growth and development. Familiarity with the energy efficiency industry or a related field is a significant asset.
